New Building
Nighttime rendering of the proposed new building for the Tennessee State Library and Archives. The Joint Venture Team is comprised of Kem Hinton, Tuck Hinton Architects, PLC. and Don Miller of Thomas, Miller & Partners, LLC. In planning since 1996, the new building will be located at the north end of the Bicentennial Mall and will offer a memorable research experience as well as state-of-the art storage and retrieval systems. |
“Preserving Tennessee’s Cultural Heritage: Statewide Conservation Initiative”
Together the Tennessee State Library and Archives and Tennessee State Museum plan to work together to identify the preservation needs of Tennessee’s cultural heritage collections. The IMLS preservation planning grant will permit these two agencies to survey, and identify conservation/environmental conditions, and provide educational resources for conservation. Read More...
